Janet Trieschman

Hi, I am Janet. I am married to my husband Dan and we have two girls. Nowadays I work from home. I have always loved to create. As a child, one of my favorite things to do was talk my mom into a trip to the craft store. I took my love of art and craft and studied Graphic Design in college. Then I pursued an MFA in Graphic Design and an MS in New Media. I left a prosperous career as a college professor to raise our girls. Looking for a creative outlet, I started a website; Try it - Like it - Create it.

Professionally trained award-winning Graphic Designer, former college professor, and a lover of all things DIY. A very laid-back mom who isn’t very hip but doesn’t try to be either. A converted coffee drinker if you add enough other flavors. And a cat lover but not quite an old cat lady yet.

I’m a creative who absolutely loves helping others find and love the crafts they are interested in pursing. I’ve written the book on the Dye Sublimation process for you- the crafter- called A Crafty Guide to Sublimation. I design, teach, and create myself and I always try and bring the resources to the table I wish I had had to get going, so you can skip the same issues and mistakes that I did. You just need the support and inspiration to get going and I’d love to help create that for you! I look forward to seeing what all you create.
