Valentine's Day is so much fun when you get to use your Cricut to make everything you want! Imagine sending cards (our Valentine's S-Fold Card - asset #306) and also making this easy Valentine's Day Banner at the same time. You can even add your own sayings!

Valentine's Banner Step-by-Step Guide

Step One - Download the Template

To start you will want to download the template (asset #308) from my resource library.

Unzip the file and upload the SVG file only to Cricut Design Space

Step Two - Design Space Changes

For this make, it is a matter of making sure you have enough of the banner hearts to string across your wall.

All you need to do is duplicate several to make it longer.

Click on Make It!

Sort your hearts into areas of the mat so you can use more than one color of cardstock.

For the card, choose a double sided cardstock for maximum effect.

Cut the design.

Step Three - Assembly

Assembly for this project is very easy. You want to cut 12" or longer strips of ribbon to tie the hearts together.

You will need a strip for each of the panels.

For the ends, you will want to cut a 2 or 3 foot piece of ribbon and then slit just one end about 2" long.

This is so that you can tie the split end to the last heart in the row and have a long end to attach to your wall.

Do the same for the other end of your banner.

Step Four - The Finishing Touches

Add any extra sayings you wish on the banner panels. You can even add more embellishments (decorations) to make this banner even more special.
